Louisiana Tech will host a 2-game midweek series against Air Force beginning Tuesday night.

Tuesday - 6 PM
Wednesday - 3 PM

RHP Greg Martinez will start for Tech on Tuesday night.

@cwardell03 recaps a tough weekend in Fayetteville for Lane Burroughs team:

Tip-off is scheduled for 8 PM on ESPN+ on Thursday night.

North Texas won both regular season matchups between the two teams.

Of the top 4 seeds, Tech has to matchup w/ North Texas the best because of the slower pace they play with.

Isaiah Crawford went 44 min last night. Keaston Willis went 45 min last night. Will be interesting to see how much they have left in the tank in the second half.

North Texas is a 7.5-point favorite.

The QB's were out throwing to the WR's.

QB's were: Bach, Turner, Strickland. and Downing(was there but didn't throw).
Observed Bachmeier has a very quick release and very accurate. That ball gets out of his hands very quickly. You can tell he has been in a program and can sling it. Turner was throwing some rainbow bombs. He throws the deep ball beautifully. Strickland was throwing some passes and learning the system.

- Probably need a 5th outside WR unless someone emerges as a STUD in the Spring + a Claville or Solo Lewis or Marlion Jackson emerges into at least a playable option.

- Charvis Thornton graduated a few days ago. I know they've brought Sqwiel & Tyre in the RB room, but I hope this doesn't make him consider leaving.

Notes on Defense

- Zy Ford is no longer w/ the program. Injury + didn't really love football enough to play at this level.

- I don't think DE is a priority anymore. Should have plenty of depth there. If you watch a guy like DJ Johnson at times in practice, he could really breakout. Has all the talent, but he was young and immature last season.

- Mykol Clark could be an option to slide inside, we'll see what he looks like weight wise this spring.
