I wanted to look at the shooting totals this year compared to the shooting totals from last season. In parenthesis are the numbers from last year.

Field Goal %:

Christon: 52% (42%)
Pemberton: 50% (51%)
Powell: 46% (55%)
Duruji: 45% (45%)
Bracey: 42% (47%)
Archibald: 39% (39%)
Jean: 39% (42%)
McKinley: 0% (50%)

Powell's drop off is extremely disappointing. We really miss Christon's efficiency.

Three-Point %:

Christon: 41% (33%)
Jean: 36% (44%)
Pemberton: 35% (29%)
Archibald: 35% (30%)
Duruji: 32% (39%)
Bracey: 28% (41%)
Powell: 17% (0%)

Top two three point shooters are out for the season. Bracey is way down from last year, but I really don't think he's a great shooter. He's realistically a guy that should shoot 33-35% from 3. Duruji is also way down on 1.5 more attempts per game.

Free Throw %:

Christon: 81% (88%)
Jean: 77% (74%)
Pemberton: 67% (60%)
Powell: 67% (66%)
Archibald: 66% (73%)
Duruji: 66% (60%)
Bracey: 64% (64%)

Archibald is the only real decline from last season at the FT line. That doesn't mean everyone has been good at FT line, but he's the only decline. Bracey is right in line with his career average, he's just not a great shooter.

I think it's fair to say that Tech is missing its best offensive player in Christon. What are your takeaways?
