Here is what the 2020 coaching staff will look like:
HC: Skip Holtz (8th season)
OC: Joe Sloan (8th season, 1st as OC)
DC: David Blackwell (1st season)
OL: Robert McFarland (6th season)
Inside WRs: Trey Holtz (1st season)
Outside WRs: John Allen (1st season)
RBs: Brock Hays (2nd season)
DL: Anthony Camp (1st season)
ILBs: Brian Gamble (3rd season)
OLBs: Dennis Smith (2nd season)
CBs/S: Jeff Burris (3rd season)
It’s unclear at this point what position Blackwell will coach.
Dennis Smith will also coach Special Teams.
This was the 2nd straight year that Tech had to replace 4 assistant coaches. It was tougher than last year, I can tell ya that much. That said, I think I might love finding out coaching hires more than anything, so it’s all fun. I’m looking forward to signing day on Wednesday and spring practice starting in March!
