August 12 (Date of the MeanGreen.com Recruiting Podcast #35) - I listened to it twice and got my laughs.
August 19 (Date of MeanGreen.com Recruiting Podcast #36) - I listened to the first 15-20 minutes on UNT's first opponent, Northwestern State, this morning.
(Note: If you are not interested in reading my notes as brought up by Blair Bagala, then make sure you look at his comment as noted in asterisks.)
Blair Bagala of the Northwestern State Fork'Em Site & Podcast was a guest speaker. The host of the podcast requested that Bagala gave us a picture of Northwestern State's football heading into this year. Bagala replied, "we've been a brutally bad program for about 15 years." He added that Brad Laird (HC) came aboard in 2018. Prior to that, we won five games in five seasons; Laird is rebuilding the team.
Bagala pointed out that we have the best offensive line since 2001; defense gave up 472 yards/game and eight yds/pass last season; and the strength is our running game. He added that the QB looks good in a series and not so good in five or six straight. He also cited that the team had its share of injuries last season.

At the end of the above segment, the host had some comments. Prior to departing from the podcast, Blair concluded by stating, "Please beat Louisiana Tech."
The host made a comment, regarding we try too, but things haven't gone accordingly. (Right on!)
From the first podcast (#35), the host and his sidekick discussed recruiting, offense and defense, surprise players on offense and defense, predictions for 2021, and Seth Littrell's (HC) future at UNT. The host was going to cover predictions for each team, but he chose not in this podcast, but he would address at a later podcast. In this podcast, the host and sidekick we're excited about the wide receiver a, adding they felt that UNT has the best wide receivers and tight ends in CUSA. As far as recruiting, they were ecstatic on UNT having the #1 recruiting class for 2021.

I will listen to the entire podcast late tonight, after returning home from the scrimmage between Lake Highlands HS and Mesquite HS at Wildcat-Ram Stadium on the LH campus.
