The RB position for the 2021 class is one that has kept us interested throughout the last few months.

I have shared a tremendous amount of information, so I just wanted to put it all in one spot for those that wanted a clear breakdown of where things stand.

We know that Tech wants 2 HS backs in the class + possibly a JC or grad transfer. Keep in mind, both Justin Henderson and Israel Tucker graduate after 2020. That puts only Greg Garner and Harlan Dixon in the room entering 2021.

Targets:

Ke'Travion Hargrove
-- One-time La Tech commit, #1 RB on the board, Ruston HS, I still really like Tech's chances, especially if La doesn't play HS football this fall.

De'Anthony Lewis -- Recently released his Top 8 that included Tech, Nebraska, Colorado, USC, Boise State, UTSA, and ULL. I don't think Nebraska and USC are committable at the moment. He's hard to get a read on, but Tech is in the mix.

Jarquez Hunter -- I believe that Tech is his leader at the moment, but I get the feeling he is trying to hold out for that "big" offer. If he holds out too long, it wouldn't shock me to see Tech take another back ahead of him and him possibly end up at an FCS/low-FBS school.

Terrence Williams -- Tech offered late last week, I get the vibe that Tech likes him and he likes Tech. Could possibly be a Tech or ULL situation after talking to him. ULL has Kendrell Williams committed, so he would be the 2nd RB in either class.

Caleb Berry -- I get the sense Tech has cooled on him some.

Could Tech end up with 3 HS RBs in this class? It wouldn't totally shock me. How would that happen? If Hargrove decides he's going to wait a while, I can't see Tech sitting around and not getting a guy they really like as the 2nd RB in this class. Tech has to have 2 RBs, has to. Then if Hargrove wanted in late, he would absolutely have a spot, he's the #1 RB on the board, and that would only make him the 5th scholarship RB, which is pretty standard for what Holtz likes to have.

I'll answer any questions that you all may have.
