Haydan Toal from Tioga HS.
Here is what Prep Baseball Report had on Toal back in August of 2020: "Athletic 6-foot-1, 180-pound frame. Has started to fill out but still has room to add strength. The southpaw made is second trip to the Future Games where he flashed a small velocity jump. One thing has held constant, the kid can flat out pitch. Athletic delivery, working a little more on-line than our last look. Compact arm action into high-¾ release, quick arm speed, average effort, hides release point well with strong front side making him tough to pick up. Pitched 82-84 mph in the first inning but jumped up to 84-86 mph in the second. Flashed slight arm-side run with advanced pitchability and command to both sides of the plate. Has feel for the breaking ball, tight rotation with solid 2/8 shape at 69-72 mph, steals strikes and creates soft contact with it, still not a true swing in miss pitch although he was able to create a chase or two. Showed advanced feel for changeup in the mid 70's, maintained fastball arm speed, consistent slot, deceptive with late fading action to create weak contact and swings and misses. Another elite level pitching performance at the Future Games. Advanced pitchability with a solid average arsenal that plays up. Continues to show that he can get outs on the big stage."
