Vilonia HS QB Austin Myers was a late addition to the visit list on Saturday. The one-time Kansas Jayhawks commit has been in contact with the Bulldogs over the last two weeks. On the overall visit, Myers shared, “We were in our own section, a recruiting section. We went down on the field, that was awesome seeing the D-I athletes up close during warmups. We were at mid-field in the stands by the players for the game.”
Asked about his thoughts on the Bulldogs’ offense, “Their quarterback is very accurate, that was one of the biggest things I noticed about him. He throws a really nice ball. As a quarterback, I was watching him, and I was very impressed.”
Myers spoke about the game day atmosphere adding, “They had a really good crowd. The student section – everyone was involved. It was a great atmosphere there. Seeing everyone show up two hours early shows they are passionate for Louisiana Tech football.”
During the visit, Myers spoke with assistant recruiting director Anthony Mauro.
