Super Dogs: The Bulldogs have a great history of players that made it to the NFL. From this list, Matt Stover, Grant Williams, Doug Evans, Ryan Allen, and Tramon Williams all played in the Super Bowl.
Tough Choices: We could only pick one kicker, so it was tough to leave off Chris Boniol and Josh Scobee. We put Xavier Woods at Nickle because he could play anywhere in the secondary and be successful, but also so we could get both Antonio Baker and Kentrell Brice in at safety. Wide receiver was an impossible choice, but we made sure and put Carlos Henderson and Phillip Livas on our team. We chose Eric Shaw and IK Enempkali over Houston Bates simply because Bates was here for just one (unbelievable) year. Aaron Lips, Mitchell Bell, and Joey Chustz were tough omissions on the offensive line. Hunter Lee, Luke McCown, and Dennis Morris were also notable omissions. Patrick Jackson, Ryan Moats, and Daniel Porter were also hard to leave off at running back.
Don't @ Us: We didn't consider current players, so no O'Shea Dugas, Jaylon Ferguson, or Jonathan Barnes.
Filling up the Stat Sheet: Tim Rattay threw for 4,943 yards in one season. Troy Edwards had 405 yards receiving in one game (Nebraska) and he had 27 receiving TDs in one season. Glenell Sanders had 548 career tackles. Trent Taylor had 1803 yards receiving in one season. Troy Edwrads had 1996 yards in one season. Kenneth Dixon had 27 rushing touchdowns in one season. Dixon had 87 career rushing and receiving touchdowns. John Simon, Phillip Livas, Patrick Jackson, and Troy Edwards all had over 4,500 all purpose yards in their career. Rattay and McCown each had over 12,500 yards of total offense in their careers.
