RUSTON -- A total of 42 Louisiana Tech student-athletes earned academic all-Western Athletic Conference honors as the league released the list on Wednesday.
Tech had a total of 21 student-athletes from its spring sports earn academic all-WAC honors while another 21 were named to the academic all-WAC freshmen/transfer list.
The league office released the names from all nine schools Wednesday as a total of 282 spring student-athletes were named to the list and 266 freshmen and transfers were added for a total of 548 recipients.
Earning academic all-WAC honors for Tech from spring sports were Emma Barnes (softball), Corey Bartlett (men’s golf), Kylie Bassett (softball), Mandi Bertsch (softball), Drew Bunting (baseball), Regan Clark (softball), Antoinette Cobb (women’s track), Kinsey Dinnel (men’s track), Alexandra Gaspar (women’s tennis), Nick Grunenwald (baseball), Chris Kersten (baseball), Andrew Lassere (baseball), Wade MaGaha (men’s track), Adriana Makowska (women’s tennis), Justin Martin (men’s track), Dylan Moseley (baseball), Sarah Offutt (softball), Clyde Smith (men’s track), Christina Tupper (women’s track), Amberly Waits (softball) and Kevin Winn (baseball).
