In 1978 Louisiana Tech baseball had its best baseball record ever in terms of wins at 46 wins vs 21 losses. This year's team has the opportunity to win more games than any Louisiana Tech baseball team EVER if they can get to 47 wins (including postseason).
We've won 40 games only 6 times in our history (once in 1978, 4 times in the '80s, and just one time since then).
We've been to an NCAA regional just 8 times (4 times in the '70s, 3 times in the '80s, and only one time since then). We've never been to a NCAA super regional, much less a CWS.
Isn't it waaaaay past time for Louisiana Tech to make some new baseball history in 2021? What a great opportunity to break a lot of school records!
