FOOTBALL 5 thoughts on the NOLA Bowl

Good win for Tech. Once they cleaned up the mistakes at the half and came out this was a different game.

1. Props to the Tech coaches for the halftime adjustments. The defense looked completely different in the second half.
2. Kenneth Dixon ran angry all game -- especially in the second half.
3. Trent Taylor and Carlos Henderson were possibly Tech's best receivers and they will be back. The strength of the OL of Dugas and Brown return next year as well. The future is bright.
4. Logistically the NOLA Bowl wasn't well run. I see why Tech drug their feet on committing to it.
5. It sure seems like time to work on Holtz's contract. Also it's time to put the assistants on contracts, even if they're tied to Holtz (i.e. if Holtz is fired the contracts are over).
