RUSTON, La. (Aug. 13, 2015) – Louisiana Tech officials announced additional future non-conference games for the Bulldogs Thursday including games against Clemson and Northwestern State and a future series against Baylor.
The announcement Thursday afternoon came as Louisiana Tech also announced a 2019 non-conference date at Texas.
The Bulldogs will play host to in-state foe Northwestern State on Sept. 2, 2017 at Joe Aillet Stadium in what will be the 79th meeting of the old State Fair rivals.
Louisiana Tech and Clemson will meet on Sept. 24, 2022 at Memorial Stadium in Clemson, South Carolina in the fourth meeting between the two schools. The Bulldogs and Tigers have meet three times prior with the first meeting between the two schools taking place in the 2001 Humanitarian Bowl in Boise, Idaho.
A three-game series between Louisiana Tech and Baylor will begin in 2020. The Bulldogs will visit Waco on Sept. 12, 2020 and again on Sept. 24, 2022 while the Bears will make the trip to Joe Aillet Stadium in Ruston on Sept. 11, 2021.
Louisiana Tech now has at least three non-conference games scheduled through 2019.
