0ffense looked good. We have 2 competent QBs, 3 good RBs, and the OL did a good job. Obviously, we are pretty deep at WR. Garner is the real deal, and Hebert is playing his way towards being a legit candidate for an NFL camp in the future.
Defense needs work - our weak link is our Secondary. Milton Williams is a force. Obviously, having so many LBs out was an issue - but I was impressed with our young guys that stepped up. Grubbs - WOW. Cedric Woods has a bright future. Given the circumstances, it's too early to pass judgment as to Blackwell.
We adapted, overcame adversity, and won a close game.
We have a LOT of young talent that will only improve.
Are y'all more optimistic or pessimistic about this team after last night? It appears that most of CUSA West is hot garbage. Marshall looks stout, but the rest of the East is pretty putrid (caveat: FAU and FIU were postponed).
