I spoke with RB AJ Carter tonight from Many HS. He has not taken an official visit to Tech.
He has a final three in no particular order of: Louisiana Tech, Arizona State, & Southern Miss.
He is still waiting on his official clearance from the NCAA. He was hoping to get it today, but he didn't. He said he has been thinking about signing early, but is waiting for the NCAA clearance before he does anything.
He hopes that the clearance comes tomorrow, "so I can announce it." I asked if that would mean he would commit when he got the clearance, and he said, "Yes sir, if I feel right about it."
So, that's where we stand with the talented RB.
