While grocery shopping this evening, I was surprised to see the college football magazines by (1) Athlon & 2) Street and Smith on the rack so early. I went straight to the CUSA predictions, Western Division, and was somewhat surprised. Both magazines had Tech tabbed in the fourth spot, behind UNT, USM, and UAB.
As far as post-season bowl projections, Athlon does not have Tech tabbed as going to a bowl game, but Street and Smith reflects a Tech vs and Boston College match-up in the Independence Bowl.
It's too early for me to purchase these magazines at this time, and my favorite, Phil Steele's College Football Preview. I will wait till mid to late June and buy the magazines.
