I believe the greatest threat to Louisiana Tech sports is the fact that pregame atmosphere has been priced out of most of our fans budgets. Our tailgating is decentralized. Cheap people tailgate by the tac, rich people tailgate in the parking lot. Greeks and students tailgate in hideaway park and get harassed. This decentralization kills any opportunity to develop pregame rituals.

Also I believe having our football team back on the student side might help Keep our students excited. I know that having the opposing team in front of the student section was supposed to be an advantage but I do not believe it has had that effect. Also I currently sit in the five rows of young alumni seating in front of the student section but I believe that seating should be given back to students. Having five rows of open seating in the very front at most games really kills atmosphere.

Many of you believe money will save our program and I know money is required, but absolutely nothing except atmosphere will make students and fans keep coming. Our administration needs to stop trying to monetize Some things because sometimes making an extra hundred dollars can cost you thousands.
