I spoke with Tech DL target Walker Baty yesterday, and it may have been the best interview I've ever done. Seems like a great kid.
How are things going between you and La Tech on the recruiting trail? "It's going great. They are showing me tons of love."
What do you like about the Bulldogs program so far? "Mostly everything. I love the coaching. I like the scheme that Coach Diaco has. I also love the experience that Coach Petri has in coaching quality defensive linemen."
What schools are at the top for you right now? "I'm not sure yet. I'm working on checking my priorities as far as my education goes. All of the schools that have offered me offer many different great opportunities. It's hard to single any of them out yet.
Do you have a timeline for a decision? "Not quite yet. At the end of the day, it's about the love of the game. I want to make sure I'm somewhere I can call home and continue to do what I love most."
