It still amazes me that Dooley landed the Tennessee job after going 17-20 overall. His last season, Tech went 4-8. I get that he wasn't even close to their first choice, but his name obviously carried a lot of weight. I still give Dooley a ton of credit for what he did for Tech from an AD perspective.
