Chris Robison is the starting QB for FAU. He left the Marshall game with an ankle injury. Will he play this week? Kiffin said, “Hopefully he will play this week.” I don’t expect him to say much else.

In regards to looking at the two other QBs at practice, Kiffin said, “Both guys get reps in practice. We have struggled to separate them, whichever way you want to put it, they have struggled to separate themselves. That is why we have really tried to see them both too and why they both end up going in games is to try and see who is gonna operate the system and who is going to perform well when they get a chance in the game. Practice will be the same, obviously there is more reps if Chris isn't practicing.”

Let’s take a look at Robison. He was the #5 QB recruit in the country in the 2017 class and originally signed with Oklahoma. He got into some trouble there and quickly transferred to FAU. He’s a RS Freshman.

For the year, Robison has graded out at 67.8 according to PFF. He has completed 62.4% of his throws for 1,639 yards along with 8TDs and 10INTs. He has 183 yards and 2TDs on the ground.

Jaylon Ferguson has to be a terror off the edge in this one. When Robison faces pressure, he is 22/56 (39%) for 373 yards along with 2TDs and 6INTs.

He completes 71% of his throws when he is not pressured and will absolutely dice you up.

DeAndre Johnson is a Florida State transfer that is behind Robison. He was the #12 QB recruit in 2015 with 35 offers. He was kicked off the Florida State team after hitting a woman. He has only thrown 7 passes this season.

Rafe Peavey is the third QB for the Owls. He was the #8 QB in country in 2014 and originally signed with Arkansas. He also spent time at SMU before coming to FAU. He has thrown 8 passes this season.
