Dana Dimel would not comment on who will play quarterback for the Miners this week. All he would say was that Ryan Metz played well against North Texas, but by playing both he and Kai Locksley, they become much more difficult to prepare for.

Kai Locksley is the son of Alabama OC, Mike Locksley. He was a 4-star recruit out of HS and signed with Texas.

Metz is a senior, Locksley is a junior.

Metz has played in five games, has seen 102 snaps, and has earned a 60.2 PFF grade.

Locksley has played in five games, has seen 299 snaps, and has earned a 49.5 PFF grade.
