So, the same year we fell out of the US News Tier 1, we went up a classification to R2 - Doctoral Universities - High Research Activities. That bumps us up to the same category as ULL and leaves ULM in the basic Doctoral University category. Hopefully this will give us the bump we need to get us back to Tier 1 in USNWR's rankings next year.
