I will be very surprised if Tech does not sign CB Carldaryl “CJ” Johnson. Johnson de-committed from Memphis this week.

He’s the #38 player in the state of MS. He has long been a priority for Tech.




We’ll get into all the details of when he visited and all that stuff at a later date. If/when he signs, Tech will have signed two 6’1 CBs, but Charvis Thornton who is the #30 player in state of LA. Johnson, Archangel & Thornton will all have had Memphis offers. Holtz continues to do a good job at bringing in talent in the secondary.
