I have been comparing this season to 2017 for a while now. Young team, around .500 on the season. Have a chance to still go to a bowl. Not much time for bowl prep unfortunately this time but a winnable game. How will they respond to the quick turnaround and the less than stellar performance in Ft Worth?
A lot has been written about Skip and grad transfers. Will be interested to see if he goes for one with Luke Anthony's injury status. Can Aaron Allen make the jump that J'Mar did after his sophomore season?
Tech has developed 2 solid QBS under Holtz. Higgins and Smith had strong senior years. So we know Holtz can develop quarterbacks, but does it take too long? Are we going to be looking at a hit or miss season under a junior QB in Aaron Allen? Will Holtz not fully trust him until he is a 5th year senior? How much credit goes to Rattay in the development of Higgins and Smith?
