Two days before conference play starts, the league announces it will utilize divisions this season:

C-USA Basketball to Utilize Divisional Standings for 2021 Season

DALLAS – Conference USA men’s and women’s basketball will move to a divisional standings format for the 2020-21 season, as approved by the league’s Board of Directors.
