Tech will travel to preseason favorite Western Kentucky this weekend.
Tipoff is set for 7 PM tonight on CBS Sports Network on Facebook.
Like Tech, WKU is 8-3 overall and 1-1 in league play.
The Hilltoppers split at Charlotte last weekend.
Lofton and Bassey, the match-up I've been waiting for all season. Bassey is a legit NBA prospect, averaging 16 points, 11 rebounds, and 3 blocks per night.
Hollingsworth will make his 114th consecutive start Friday night, he's averaging 15.1 points per game. He scored 43 against Tech in an OT win last February, got to the FT line 19 times.
Josh Anderson is a tough match-up at the SF spot as well, plays bigger than his 6'5 frame at times, averaging 9.3 ppg.
Frampton comes off the bench and can really shoot it from 3, that's a difference from their team a year ago. He's a Davidson transfer, shooting 44% from 3.
Carson Williams is a 6'5 post player that really gave Tech some issues a year ago. He scored 15.5 ppg against Tech in 2 games, but he's only averaging 5.3 ppg thus far in 2020-2021.
WKU will play 9 guys, all average 9 min or more per game.
Looking at Tech, the Bulldogs will have to get more of a contribution from Ledoux this weekend. He only scored 11 points in 2 games against Marshall.
Biggest concern to me about Tech to this point? The guards aren't shooting the ball well at all. Williams (42%), Ledoux (39%), Archibald (36%), and Christon (32%) from the field. Hopefully Bass gets some minutes early.
