Dunkin' Dogs will square-off with Western Kentucky at 9 PM tonight in the Quarterfinals of the NIT.
Tipoff is set for 9 PM on ESPN2.
The two teams split the regular season series.
WKU won 66-64 on January 8th, Tech won 63-58 on January 9th. Two really good conference battles.
In the two match-ups, Junior combined for 4 points and 6 rebounds in 37 minutes of action. I'm really interested to see how he bounces back against Bassey, you know he's going to be extremely motivated.
Andrew Gordon averaged 12.5 points and 7 rebounds in the two games. He could be a key tonight.
Tech will need to slow Bassey down and keep WKU off the FT line. In the 66-64 win, WKU went to the FT line 31 times. In the 63-58 loss, WKU only went to the FT line 13 times.
Winner guarantees themselves two more games, one Saturday & one Sunday. There is a 3rd place game in the NIT.
