Eric Konkol has received a two-year extension, his contract will now run through the 2024-2025 season.
He will continue to make $400,000 per season.
He will receive $25,000 for each of the following (capped at $50,000):
-- Regular season conference champion
-- Conference tournament champion
-- At-large NCAA tournament participation
He will receive $15,000 for making the NIT, additional $10,000 for a Final 4 in the NIT.
Cumulative supplemental payments for the following:
-- $25,000 for a Sweet 16 berth
-- $25,000 for an Elite 8 berth
-- $50,000 for a Final 4 appearance
-- $50,00 if team is NCAA Champion
If Konkol leaves prior to April 1, 2021, he owes Tech $325,000.
If Konkol leaves prior to April 1, 2022, he owes Tech $300,000.
If Konkol leaves prior to April 1, 2023, he owes Tech $200,000.
If Konkol leaves prior to April 1, 2024, he owes Tech $100,000.
