Wren was out there today. He’s the biggest receiver Tech has and it ain’t close. He’s still limited.
No Courtney Wallace the first two days. I heard they are taking it slow with him.
J’Mar Smith is in the best shape I’ve seen him. No brace on his knee.
Cousar was limited again today.
Daniel Lewis was working with the 1’s at safety today. Baldwin with the 2’s. He was at strong safety.
Dugas was at LT today. Rodriguez at RT.
J’Mar was off the mark early on in 7-on-7. Missing high and low. Threaded the needle to Belton once. Ball probably should have been picked by Jackson, but he only got a finger on it.
Elliot looked has had a really solid two days. Looks much more comfortable in offense. Decisions still aren’t being made as quick as J’Mar.
Barnett has moved down into the box.
Hannibal went up over Toussant and picked off Walker on a deep ball. High pointed the football very nicely.
Second possession of 7-on-7, J’Mar looked much better. Hardy had a bad drop on a pass that hit him in hands over middle. J’Mar fit it into tight coverage.
Washington picked off J’Mar on third drive. Seam route to Veal, Washington played it perfectly underneath. Baited the throw. Throw can’t be made, Skip let him know.
Walker still struggling with accuracy. Deep out gives him the most issues.
Aaron Allen hasn’t gotten a ton of reps, but he has looked impressive. Really good zip and throws it on time and on target.
Amik messed up his shoulder a lot bit. Looked fine though.
Durman had a nice day today. He looked good in coverage.
Offense got lit into some for lack of attention to detail. Got some burpees in.
Willie Allen still needs to get in shape some. He’s clearly a guard from my perspective.
I might have said this yesterday, but Collin Scott has really trimmed down. He’s moving much better, which was definitely needed.
QBs worked on deep balls today. Post route in particular.
J’Mar made a nice 20 yard throw on the run to Woodard. He was flushed out to his right.
Trey Baldwin is running with the 3’s right now. He moves pretty well. Had nice coverage on the RBs multiple times.
Smoke against LBs over the middle is going to be a disaster for opposing defenses. He’s played strictly WR the first two days.
Aaron Roberson is running with the 4’s right now.
J’Mar loves the quick out to Veal. He does look more in sync with his WRs.
J’Mar floats his deep ball too much at times.
Overall I thought Elliot had the best day of the QBs.
