I pull up, Aaron Allen fires 4 darts down the field with the last pass being a TD to Hebert on a slant.

J’Mar first drive in team: he went 6/6, every throw was right on the money.

Dancy, McKnight, and Tucker all rotating in with the 1’s at RB.

Hannibal seeing time with the 1’s at CB. He’s obviously impressing.

Henderson broke one with the 2’s for a 20 yard run. Elliot saw it pre-snap, and audible to a run.

Mote was at center with the 2’s.

Elliot ran read option one play. Got around the edge, but he’s not exactly a guy that will put fear in a defense.

Braswell is the TE at this point, with Cousar out.

Walker is still with the 3’s. I don’t get the impression that he is pushing Elliot for the backup spot right now.

No sign of Wallace or Kendzior today. I’ll check on Kendzior.

Beejay Williamson could play CB or safety. Really athletic, good in coverage.

McKnight had a couple of nice runs. Trey Baldwin made a bad read on one from his LB spot.

Side note: Trey Baldwin is going to take a QBs head off on a blitz this year.

J’Mar made about a 35 yard corner route throw on the run to Alfred Smith. Ball was on the money. Heck of a throw.

Zone blocking in the run game, fits Dancy’s game well. He’s really good at finding a cutback line and pressing the hole quickly.

Ferguson with a TFL on Tucker. Basically unblocked.

The 1’s on the DL, looked very good against the run. I said yesterday that Mason has changed his body, he looks like Vernon Butler from a body perspective.

Amik and Hannibal with the 1’s at CB. Sam and Sneed with the 2’s for the most part. All rotate at times, except Amik. He’s always with the 1’s.

Baker still has work to do when it comes to setting an edge. He can lose containment at times.

Big focus on the run game today.

Willie Allen needs to drop 20 pounds.

Both freshman tackles have been solid. Rossell is ahead of Henderson at this point. Moves better.

Kitchen had good coverage on Smoke a couple of times. Kitchen is healthy, that’s a good sign.

J’Mar with a 25 yard throw to Bonnette on a deep cross. Bonnette got behind the LBs in between the safeties. Rodriguez was phenomenal in pass pro against Turner.

Dancy showed great burst all day, he would have scored a couple of times had the whistle not been blown.

OL beginning to opened up some nice holes as the team period progressed.

Skip getting J’Mar outside the pocket far more often than a year ago. Through 3 drives, this is the best J’Mar has looked. He’s had 1 throw away, completed every other throw. Rattay constantly coaching him up after each drive.

Defense is flying around today. Playing with so much emotion.

Not Elliot’s best day. Getting a lot of pressure in his face.

Alfred Smith is showing more burst this year than I remember a year ago.

Scott and Durman playing well, especially at filling holes in the run game.

Amik playing nickel CB now. Sneed and Sam outside. Washington and Taylor at LB. Daniel and Darryl Lewis at safety.

Turner sacks J’Mar when he’s trying to step up in pocket.

J’Mar goes deep for Bonnette. Darryl Lewis and Sneed all over it. Incomplete along sideline.

Turner shifting inside to tackle, Ydarraga at DE. Probably more of a pass rush focused DL.

J’Mar with a 35 yard bullet down the middle to Veal. An absolute rocket.

J’Mar beautiful deep ball to Bonnette in back of endzone. Touchdown. Couldn’t have placed it any better. I believe it was a drill working on two minute offense.

Hale and Farlow both looked good kicking FGs.

Today was the best the offense has looked since camp began. Especially the first team. J’Mar was in complete control throughout. WRs caught the ball well.
