The Dunkin' Dogs return home tonight to host FAU. The Dogs have won 4 in a row and stand two games clear of 3rd place in the league. It will be key to not overlook anyone, and win the remaining conference games as expected.
FAU is coached by 3rd year head coach and 11 year NBA vet Michael Curry. The Owls have struggled this year, but are 3-2 on the road within the league. Tech will definitely not be able to overlook this team. The Dogs blew a 24 point lead at FAU last year, in what is probably the worst loss of the Konkol era.
Erik McCree continues to lead the Dogs averaging a nice 18 pts and 9 rebs a night. He is 17-25 from three in the last four games and is shooting 40% from three for the year. He is certainly making a great case to win Tech its 3rd consecutive CUSA Player of the Year Award. It will be key to get Jacobi Boykins back in a rhythm after a rough road trip. Should be a fun night in the TAC, if any of you are in attendance, I would love to meet some of you!
