It’s no secret, Skip Holtz has had a tremendous amount of success at La Tech with 5th year QBs.
Cody Sokol: 3,436 yards, 30 TDs, & 13 INTs
Jeff Driskel: 4,026 yards, 27 TDs, 8 INTs, 323 yards rushing & 5 TDs
Ryan Higgins: 4,617 yards, 41 TDs, 8 INTs, 277 yards rushing, & 4 TDs.
I have a few questions. Can J’Mar Smith close out his collegiate career like the three mentioned above? What are your expectations for Smith in 2019? The QB situation was awful in 2013, but is it a concern that only 5th year QBs have found tremendous success under Holtz at Tech? Is it natural for QBs to not reach their peak until their final season? Your thoughts?
