Tech will look to continue its hot play Saturday night when they travel to Miami to take on FIU.

FIU defeated Southern Miss last night 76-70. Brian Beard Jr. scored 23 points in the win.
On the season, FIU is 10-13 overall with a 4-6 record in league play.
Beard leads FIU in scoring averaging 16 points per game. Trejon Jacob is averaging 15 points per game, shooting 37% from 3. Eric Lockett is averaging 14 points per contest.
FIU is another team that struggles to shoot the ball from 3, only shooting 33% on the season. As a team, they shoot only 58% from the free throw line!!
They are a guard dependent team, the three guys mentioned above are all guards.
They lost by 5 to MTSU in OT on their home floor, this will not be a pushover by any means for the Bulldogs.
If you didn't get a chance to watch Thursday night, the announcers said that Bracey's back tightened up pregame which is why he did not play. I would imagine Tech will hold him out again Saturday night. Joniah White did not make the trip.
