Randy Davis passed away yesterday. He had been suffering from dementia possibly caused by his passion for barefoot waterskiing and the many wipe outs the sport has. Multiple in a day. He was the first person Skip Bertman hired at LSU. He was a friend for over 30 years. Lots of great baseball stories including one about Jim Oakes trying to tell him who to play.
