Fotball time is upon us - ESPN+?

Now that its the season to be merry, what is ESPN+? Looks to be a subscription streaming channel and not it part of the ESPN channel lineup - like Watch ESPN. Anyone have any experience with it? I ask as it looks like the majority of our games will be on it.
