He mentioned only having one guarantee game this year. We still play two P5 teams, but one comes to Ruston. 2019 and 2021 are set up the same way, with only one guarantee game. 2019 only has one P5 game period. Thats a huge improvement from the days of playing 3 to 4 bodybag games each year.
I'm glad we're still working to improve schedules and give the team the best chance to win. Even two guarantee games each year are hard to overcome. 2018, 2020, and 2022 are still set up to only have 5 home games and 2 guarantee games. It's a trade off. A manageable schedule every other year is a real step in the right direction.
