I'm already beginning to dislike almost all of our conference members - either their fans, head coaches, history, or reason for conference admittance:
UTEP - low class; always will be; terrible, hyphenated name; English as a second language.
UTSA - low class coach; dirty players; no history; admitted only for metro location; otherwise ditto UTEP.
MU - cocky, hick fans; gosh-awful hick green color.
MTSU - cocky, hick, uninformed fans; Belt background and attitude; admitted only for metro location; directional name is terrible.
FAU - Belt background and attitude; admitted only for metro location; completely forgettable school.
FIU - ditto FAU but with English as a second language.
WKU - ditto FAU.
NTx - ditto FAU; puke green color equals Marshall's fail.
UNCC - ditto FAU but lacking ANY background (albeit probably better than a Belt background); hyphenated name is terrible.
UAB - admin can't even decide if it WANTS football; terrible, hyphenated name.
ODU - no football history; admitted only for metro location.
Given that, I decided to construct standardized references for our conference affiliates so that we will not need to constantly search for words reflective of the respect each deserves. Improvements and suggestions are welcome!
UTEP - MINORS
UTSA - ROADKILL
MU - LUMBERING COWS (BOVINES)
MTSU - a blue raider? what a give-up! I don't know WHAT to do with that. Pitiful!
FAU - DIRTY HOOTERS (burrowing owls)
FIU - KITTENS? THE NEARLY EXTINCT?
WKU - RED THINGYS
NTx - MEAN GREEN WHAT? or the ECO-TERRORISTS (mean "green(s)").
UNCC- another pitiful name. School was saved from extinction in 1949; hence the name.
UAB - NO PANTS
ODU - BUTTERFLIES
SMiss - SMESS - can you think of a bigger mess at the moment?
Rice - HOOTERS
