I started the day out like most of you, following the news regarding the additions that the Big 12 made.
Following that, I decided to do some digging around of my own to see where things stand for Tech in regards to the AAC.
In digging into that, I talked to 3-4 different sources that all made me aware that an indoor practice facility is in the works.
Fundraising has been on-going for a few months, and I’d expect we’ll hear a public announcement this fall.
Is this directly tied to Tech going to the AAC? I don’t have that answer.
Is Tech really getting the ball rolling on this because of realignment? I don’t have that answer.
The answer I have is that an IPF is coming, and a lot of leg work has already been done.
