I’m really frustrated with this loss just like so many of you. Tonight shows 1 single thing. We aren’t going bowling this season. We will probably win 2 more games going the direction that we are going (FIU and Charlotte). We have to find out what we have for next year because it is over for this year. We have 2 weeks to get Lyddy ready to start. We need to see what we have with him because this off-season we will have to either have the guy or go to the portal to find the guy. Also if we don’t start Lyddy what does this say about our coaching staff and what they think of Lyddy. If our staff doesn’t believe in Lyddy then he should hit the portal to go to a program that does believe in him.
Also on another note we need to hit the portal for every position moving forward. The recurring theme from South Alabama was that all of their stud players came from the P5 level. That is how Marshall got their stud RB. That is how most winning G5 programs win now.
