This is one of those weird observations that maybe I read too much into...
I had on the radio yesterday driving to an appointment, and there was the Les Miles press conference introducing their new DC and Ed Orgeron.
One of the questions was asked by a reporter to the effect, if the current coaching staff could be thought of a a "recruiting dream team."
Les Miles responded with a chuckle, and said, we should bring down Malone from North Louisiana for that.
I know his son is going to LSU, and that in of itself is sort of here nor there for me. However, having such a chummy personal relationship with Les Miles, where LSU can basically call him "one of their own" to the expense of his relationship with Tech, is another thing all together.
