Kenny sat in the seat directly in front of me at the game Saturday night with his family. I didn't know who he was at first, but noticed how tall the kid was. He was taller than me standing up, and he was a row in front of me (but to be fair, if you know me it's not very hard at all to be taller than me). He's every bit of 6'10". I also noticed he was constantly clapping after Tech baskets, and even jumped up and yelled on a few dunks, etc. At some point in the 2nd half he turned to me and said "See that #1 jersey? You'll see me in that next year."
All that to say, I don't know how good the kid is going to be, but from the brief conversation I had with him Saturday he struck me as a high character guy who was already passionate about Tech basketball. That was really cool to see.
