Tech press release:

RUSTON, La. (Oct. 5, 2015) – Officials with the Southeastern Conference announced Monday that the Oct. 17 football game between Louisiana Tech and Mississippi State (RV/RV) will kick off at 11 a.m. CT and will be televised by the SEC Network.

The game will be hosted by Mississippi State at Davis Wade Stadium at Scott Field in Starkville, Mississippi.

The game between LA Tech and Mississippi State will be the first meeting since 2011 when Mississippi State edged Louisiana Tech, 26-20, in overtime. Mississippi State leads the all-time series, 8-3, but Louisiana Tech has won two of the last three meetings and in all five meetings between the two teams since 1987, LA Tech has either won or been within one possession of State.

Louisiana Tech (3-2, 1-1 Conference USA) is coming off a 43-14 win over in-state foe UL-Lafayette last week and will travel to face UTSA at 6 p.m. CT at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas.
