I was awakened at 2:05 a.m. and before returning to the bed, I chose to check out the sports section on Baylor in the Waco newspaper, specifically its softball program. For the past 10 seasons, 2010-2019, Baylor had amassed 390 wins (39/yr) and 190 losses (19/yr) under a coach who just completed his 19th season as the skipper of the program. Baylor is accustomed to playing in the regionals but no so this year. Baylor finished the 2019 season with a record of 18-31 and finished last in the conference out of seven teams with a record of 2-16.

On Friday, May 17, the Texas Rangers will be honoring Kim with a pre-game ceremony, and she will be tossing out the first pitch prior to the Rangers vs. Cardinals on Fox Sports Southwest. The game will start at 7:05 p.m.
