I have learned that former Bulldog, Leo Sanford, will be honored at a luncheon tomorrow as he gave an athletic endowment scholarship.
This will be the FIRST ever athletic endowed scholarship by a former athlete.
That doesn’t include former athletes that have given to big projects, this is strictly in terms of endowed scholarships.
Mr. Sanford is a fine, fine man and was inducted into the Louisiana Tech Hall of Fame in 1985.
