I think we need to all be honest going into this UAB game. This teams record is a product of an incredibly weak schedule. The daunting stretch of Grambling/BG/FIU/Rice/UMass was certainly false advertising. Take into account our last two years with J'Mar and Skips 'Spread' offense really not progressing to anything that makes me want to buy tickets for my whole family. We recruit 'dual' threat QBs but never really use their 'dual' threat. The offense has no flow, no rhythm, and most certainly has no schematic advantage to our route combinations. I'll say it again right here for the people in the back. If we don't play in the CUSA championship game this season, I hope Skip looks elsewhere or our administration starts understanding there are plenty of coaches out there that can be doing what he's doing here.
If going 8-5 and winning the Krispy Kreme Jelly Filling bowl every year is our end goal. I'll have to start making it known more so than others. The last three seasons of 7-6, 8-5, and now possibility of NOT playing in the CUSA championship game with this WEAK A$$ schedule is completely disheartening. J'Mar has been average all those seasons.
