TECH NEWS Louisiana Tech decides to delay start of women's soccer and volleyball seasons

"Louisiana Tech has decided to delay all athletic in-season competition prior to Sept. 1."

"Louisiana Tech is not the only college athletic program that has postponed the start of secondary fall sports. The Southeastern Conference and the Atlantic Coast Conference also have delayed the starts of soccer and volleyball to Aug. 31 and Sept. 1, respectively. Fellow C-USA members North Texas and Florida Atlantic have also made a similar move."

The soccer season was scheduled to start on August 20, and the women's volleyball season was scheduled to start on August 28.
