Defensive lineman Soni Fonua has entered the transfer portal, which serves as a blow to depth along LSU’s defensive line even if he was relegated to a reserve role. Fonua, a fifth-year senior, recorded 28 total tackles and 6.5 tackles for loss last year and really stepped up big at the end of the season when LSU’s line was hit with injuries.
