Maybe someone has posted this idea or somthing similar in the past- forgive me if you have. LTU sports program is horrible at making/raising $$. That's obvious I realize. Instead of just stating the obvious, I thought I would provide a possible solution. What if we offered contracts to our FB assistant coaches??? Contractually, if they leave before their contract ends, they owe LTU $30K, if we fire them, we pay them $30K. If memory serves correct, since 1988 we haven't fired an assitant. I can't tell you how many have left. Last year alone, if this were in place, we make $90K- for nothing!! Every year we lose coaches for more $ or a better offer, we never fire them! Why don't we start benefitting from this?? Just a thought.
