Once you clear the waitlist, an LTAC contribution of $150 or more has long been the eligibility criteria for purchasing Box Seats at The Joe. With the recent posting of 2015-2016 basketball ticket prices the Men's Floor Seats have "joined the club" so to speak.
No doubt some if not all of the limited availability comes from existing ticket holders inability or unwillingness to meet the new requirement. I'd be surprised if all available seats aren't snapped up quickly. As with most things some folks will be sore about the change and others elated about upgrading their seats.
It’s easy to see how, with more modest LTAC thresholds, this could be applied to Lower Bowl and 100 Level seats as demand exceeds supply.
