News Media by Diaz in the Shreveport Disappointment...

I don't even get the Shreveport joke paper anymore---except, I do have the online version for the obits mainly, but I might be the only goober that saw this---I was drinking coffee with my father in law this morning, and, of course at 91 he still gets that sorry paper....he wanted to show me the "old news" by Corey Diaz about Tech playing in BR(baseball) in the round robin tournament...towards the end of the article, he wrote that Tech was 11-6 when the season shut down...AND THAT ALL SIX OF THE SENIORS WERE NOT COMING BACK? DID ANYBODY FACT CHECK THAT??😡 Of course not, but due to the fine work here by Ben and others I believe ALL 6 OPTED TO RETURN didn't they?? Now, this is the really good part--I SAW AND READ THIS ARTICLE WITH MY OWN OLD EYES, and SOMEBODY(FACT CHECK?????) must have caught something, because the online version has a paragraph(towards the end) that starts out about the seniors and just cuts off, leads to nowhere, makes zero sense...so they must have realized their Jan 20 release was not correct....just another reason why I got off and out of social media, newspapers, TV news, etc(and, yes, you are correct, I DID READ the article out of courtesy to my paw in law, so I guess I am contradicting myself a bit)...I sure WISH I had a platform to just spew out anything I felt was true and that everybody else should agree with🙄...I have no idea WHY I laughed at this, but media as a whole is just a lying joke...just thought some of you would enjoy that...I think I am showing my age and longing for the semi lying days of Walter Cronkite😜
