LSU held a MASSIVE HS camp over the weekend.

The whole Tech staff worked the camp as well.

Here are some news & notes on some Tech targets, per the guys at TigerDetails.com:

DB Rayshawn Pleasant: "A lot of players helped themselves on Sunday, but nobody launched up the LSU board more than West Monroe cornerback Rayshawn Pleasant did. The twitchy, athletic cornerback mirrored receivers all day and broke up numerous passes. He was inserted into the top group for all of the 7on7 action, showing that LSU was equally impressed with his performance. The cornerback board looks full at the moment, but Pleasant has LSU's attention."

QB Commit Landry Lyddy: "Landry Lyddy is one sharp quarterback. The Louisiana Tech commit had the best day throwing the ball of all the quarterbacks in attendance. His balls came out quickly, on time and with tremendous accuracy and strong velocity. He isn't the tallest guy, and may not be the dual threat type, but he is a polished passer that can throw a ball through a Fruit Loop if asked."

On their board they said Lyddy had the best performance of any of the QBs. Five-star Walker Howard, four-start Tevin Carter, and four-star 2023 Rickie Collins were all there.

DB Jadais Richard: "Richard played a lot of safety in the 7on7 setting and looked really good patrolling the backend. He also showed well when asked to cover in some 1on1's, making him one of the top overall defenders on Sunday. Richard looks smooth in his movements, has great length and is bouncy for a 6-1 defensive back. He moved up LSU's board after a strong showing."
